Mrs. Missy Marso To All Instructors

Born and raised in Philadelphia, I have been dancing for as long as I can remember, with movement and performance shaping so much of who I am. After graduating from the University of the Arts, I continued my professional training with Miami City Ballet before discovering my true passion for musical theatre. What began as a love for dance grew into a seven-year professional career that took me across the country and eventually around the world, performing in more than nine countries throughout Europe and collaborating with some of the most talented artists in the industry. After my professional career, I met my husband, and together we welcomed two beautiful children. We are now entering our fifth year of homeschooling, a journey that has deepened my passion for education and for nurturing the next generation of young artists. I take great pride in helping students become confident, courageous, and expressive, using musical theatre not only to develop their artistic abilities, but also as a tool to help shape the people they will ultimately become. This year marks my 11th production as a director and choreographer, and I am incredibly excited to continue sharing my love of theatre with these talented young performers. I look forward to a transformative semester filled with creativity, growth, confidence, and, most importantly, the joy of discovering what each student is capable of.
