Jessica Moller - Executive Director

Jessica Moller teaches Marine Biology at Legacy, she graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and an emphasis in Child Behavior. It was the seven years at Sea World, educating visitors from VIPs to overnights with Scouts and summers with campers, that honed her teaching skills. As a skilled people person, Jessica did very well in marketing, recruiting and medical staffing, attaining management positions and winning numerous awards for her excellence at work. However, her students are most impressed with her quirky Sea World stories and amazing facts.
At Legacy, the executive director is a hands-on leader who would rather play games with kids during break or man the Cafe than sit in an office. She knows everyone's names, and is often likely to be heard praising someone.
Jessica is not afraid to do whatever needs to be done. When a large expanse of high quality synthetic turf was offered for Legacy's new golf course, there was a catch. It had to be removed from where it was installed within 24-hours. Jessica rallied a large group of parents, with their accompanying children, and it became a work party with pizza. The next morning, all of it was at the new location.
A lifelong volunteer, Jessica has helped at the San Diego Center for the Blind. She assisted teachers in various classrooms in the San Diego Unified School District and built homes in Mexico with a local church for Amor Ministries.
Jessica and her husband are very familiar with the difficulties of homeschooling. This is the fourth year they have home schooled their two children ages 10 and 8. With the dozens of daily “adventures” that occur wherever there's a large group of kids, Jess practices what she preaches. She remains calm and positive, proactive and protective. Her goal is to provide all children with the things she wants for her own kids—fun, curiosity-driven learning, lifelong friends, and a sense of belonging coupled with age-appropriate independence.
Angela Delegge - Education Director

Angela has been married to her husband, Lou, for over 30 years and has been blessed with 17 children and 9 beautiful grandchildren. Angela has unschooled, over-schooled, co-oped, charter schooled and every other way you could homeschool her children through the years, who now range in ages from 10 years old into their 30's. She was the Director of the Carlsbad Independent Learning Academy and within one year, with the efforts of her amazing team, developed and grew a program with less than 50 students to flourishing over 320. It has been her joy and privilege to serve alongside these teachers and families. The rest of her time is spent sharing home cooked meals with her family and friends in a full house filled with lots of children, laughter and worship. The DeLegge's have had many adventures as a family ranging from traveling overseas helping rebuild homes for the earthquake victims in Kobe, Japan, exploring over 45 US states with her family and serving in children's ministries for as long as she can remember. They have also walked through many trials as well from beating childhood cancer with their precious grand-baby to recently losing two of their beloved sons this past year. Through all that this life has thrown their way, Angela walks each day knowing that life is a precious gift. She is so excited that she now has the opportunity to be building a legacy and laying the groundwork for her own precious grandchildren.
